Resilience Nodes

Rural and small urban communities adapting and reapplying NURISH solutions, knowledge and methodologies to their own local climate contexts across Europe.

Transferring Climate Resilience Strategies

The Resilience Nodes (RNs) are rural and small urban communities that will adapt and reapply the solutions, knowledge and methodologies developed in the NURISH Resilience Hubs. Their role is essential for understanding how climate resilience strategies can be transferred and tailored to different social, environmental and economic contexts across Europe.

Each Resilience Node follows the Reapplication Framework (RAF), which guides them through climate risk assessment, community engagement, exploration of Nature-based Solutions and preparation of their own Regenerative Rural Resilience Roadmaps. This process helps the Resilience Nodes build long term capacities for local adaptation, while exchanging experiences with the Hubs through NURISH’s Knowledge Exchange Network.

Reapplication

Each Node follows the RAF guided through climate risk assessment, community engagement, and NbS exploration.

Resilience Roadmaps

Nodes develop their own Regenerative Rural Resilience Roadmaps to guide long-term local adaptation.

Knowledge Exchange

Nodes exchange experiences with Hubs and each other through NURISH's Knowledge Exchange Network.
