The Fifth Forum for the EU Mission on Adaptation to Climate Change will take place on 24 November 2026 in Dublin, Ireland, under the Irish Presidency of the Council of the European Union. The event will bring together stakeholders from across Europe to exchange knowledge, explore practical climate adaptation solutions and strengthen collaboration across sectors and governance levels.
The EU Mission on Adaptation to Climate Change, of which NURISH is part, supports European regions, cities and local authorities in strengthening their resilience to the impacts of climate change. As these impacts intensify across Europe, this year’s Forum will focus on practical and replicable adaptation solutions that are already making a difference on the ground.
Throughout the Forum, participants will discover innovative tools being developed by Mission Projects, explore how they can contribute to climate resilience and work together to co-design solutions tailored to the challenges and needs of their communities. Dedicated workshop sessions will provide a space to jointly address specific regional and local adaptation challenges, while networking activities will encourage knowledge exchange and new partnerships.
The Forum will be held from 08:30 to 18:00 GMT on 24 November at the Dublin Royal Convention Centre, with options available for both in-person and online participation.
A Pre-Forum programme on 23 November will complement the main event. During the morning, participants will be able to join site visits around Dublin to discover local climate adaptation and resilience initiatives. In the afternoon, members of the Mission’s Community of Practice are invited to participate in an interactive workshop focused on exchanging experiences, discussing shared challenges and exploring practical tools and solutions. The day will conclude with an evening reception at Dublin City Hall.
Registration for the Forum and its associated activities is open until 2 October 2026. Places for the site visits and Pre-Forum workshop are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
